Warriors is a concept album by acclaimed composer Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis, based on the Paramount Pictures film The Warriors and the book The Warriors by Sol Yurick.
Dreambear studio approached me to help out animating the introduction of every character and singer in the album (and there's plenty of them!) There was big names involved, such as Lauryn Hill, RZA, Ghostface Killah. Nas, Flaco Navaja, Marc Anthony and Cam'ron.
I animated every character and typography introduction, together with a lot of textures. All the animations were done frame by frame using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. All these animations were use as a way of introducing the album and the characters of the play to the world through Social Media.
